The team at Dawsons are thrilled to announce an extraordinary collection of Star Wars memorabilia, consigned by none other than Tim Rose, Animatronic Designer, Puppeteer and Performer, best known for his portrayal of the iconic Admiral Ackbar in the Star Wars saga. This exciting collection will form an integral part of our specialist Entertainment Memorabilia sale on 30th October.

A unique, carded, Star Wars Admiral Ackbar figure - signed by Tim Rose

  

Highlights from the collection include rare and signed items from the Star Wars universe, such as:

  • A 1980s novelty 'Yoda' cap, signed by Frank Oz (the voice and puppeteer behind Yoda), alongside an 'R2-D2' cap signed by Kenny Baker, the actor who brought R2-D2 to life.
  • A Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi cap signed by Tim Rose himself, along with another cap signed by Brian Herring, performer of 'BB-8' in the recent Star Wars trilogy.
  • A laminated Star Wars 'Admiral Ackbar' poster, signed by Tim Rose.
  • A unique collection of carded Star Wars Admiral Ackbar figures, including three from 'Force Awakens', one 'Bend-Ems', and two novelty examples, all signed by Tim Rose.
  • A rare, signed, Howard the Duck novelty mug, accompanied by assorted loose Star Wars small collectables.

Beyond the galaxy far, far away, the collection also features plaster life-cast masks of Hollywood legends Daryl Hannah, David Bowie, Robert De Niro, and Sean Connery, alongside an original resin life-cast bust of Danny DeVito, crafted for the 1992 film Batman Returns.
