the snake's head with cobalt blue enamel decoration, and applied floral motif set with mixed old-cut diamonds, with the enamel tail curled around the neck, carrying an enamel heart-shaped pendant in its mouth, with diamond-set floral design, vacant glass aperture to verso, suspended on a yellow gold articulated snake-link chain, necklace 38 cm long, snake head and pendant approximately 4.1 cm long, unmarked, (tests as gold), the clasp fastening into the serpent's head.
