Sold for £5,000

Condition Report

Both marble tops have been extensively broken and repaired but retain their shape if a pattern were required.

Pedestal 1:

Slight damage to the front veneered panel and some slight lifting as bubbles in the veneer in one small area

The right-hand side of this pedestal has some lifting veneer to the cube work.

Pedestal 2:

A slight blemish to a small area of the cube work on the left-hand side, some bubbles to the marquetry at the lower front panel, also a small area of leaf inlay is missing.

Both pedestals have (IMHO) a later blanking panel of brown oak at the top of each pedestal below the marble panel, I can t explain this addition, perhaps the pedestals were open below the marble originally,

All mounts are present and the reverse of each pedestal is plain veneered and dry finished.

Please see the extra images supplied that illustrate the points above.
