A collection of five items of original 1977 Star Wars artwork, created for Letraset, who 20th Century Fox officially licensed to produce stationery merchandise in the UK. The artwork was created for Letraset by Hunt and Broadhurst Ltd of Limited (Oxford), for a range of stationery items, and included here is an R2-D2 notebook (21 cm x 33.5 cm), a Chewbacca exercise book (16.5 cm x 23.3 cm), a C-3PO and R2-D2 writing pad (20 cm x 16 cm), a Princess Leia jotter pad (19 cm x 14 cm) and a large Star Wars scrapbook, (37 cm x 48 cm). Each is housed in an original proof folder, with covering (and annotated) protective paper, one with a signed and dated 'Artwork Approval' stamp verso. The finished Letraset merchandise was sold across UK retailers, to include WH Smith and Woolworths.

Condition Report

All items in original condition, having been stored in a loft for the past thirty years or so. Some wear to the outer covers, but the artwork pieces themselves appear undamaged.
