A Victorian garnet and rose-cut diamond bracelet and necklace suite; the pendant features a large circular garnet cabochon framed within a wreath of diamonds, a glazed compartment encasing hairwork to verso, detachable from ribbon surmount and bail fully encrusted with diamonds, suspending on a snake link chain with an engraved tube clasp, pendant testing silver on gold with 5.0 cm drop length, chain testing as 18ct measures 41.5 cm long; a matching bracelet with three graduated oval garnet cabochons in claw setting, flanked by diamond-set crossover surround and applied foliate embellishments, detachable snake link bracelets fastened on both ends by two concealed tongue clasps, overall length 16.0 cm; in fitted case by London & Ryder.
