A diamond, ruby and natural pearl pendant on chain, of quatrefoil form, centred with a round pearl of 5.2 mm within a frame of old-cut diamonds, set to an openwork floral mount further encrusted with rose-cut and old-cut diamonds, egg-shaped pearls at ordinal points, and ruby highlights at cardinal points, plaque to the reverse engraved with memorial inscription, yellow metal testing as 18ct, 3.2 cm drop; to a hinged and detachable diamond-set bail suspending on a 44.0 cm Figaro link chain in unmarked white metal testing as silver, in fitted case.
The item is subjected to verbal reports from GCS confirming it contains natural saltwater pearls (5785-1159); and no heat Burmese rubies (5785-0969).
