An Edwardian ruby and diamond dress ring, centred with an oval-cut ruby of 8.0 x 7.2 x 3.2 mm, claw-set between geometric openwork shoulders with millgrain details, encrusted with single-cut diamonds, in unmarked white metal testing as platinum, size M, 3.1 grams.

A verbal assessment of the Gemmological Certification Services confirms ruby to be Burmese (Myanmar) in origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Ref. 5785-0520
