After Jean-Michel Claude (Clodion) a pair of ormolu and patinated bronze figural candelabra, 19th century, modelled as putti and young Bacchus supporting a two ormolu candle sconces. On architectural fluted column bases with square socles. 24 cm wide x 40 cm high.

Private collection from a titled lady, a large London home, deceased estate. No written or anecdotal provenance is available. This picture has been in storage for the last 20 years.
