A Victorian gem-set floral brooch, depicting a butterfly perching on a spray of flowers, the butterfly is embellished with rose-cut diamonds and circular-cut rubies, flowerheads centred with round seed pearls and petals further adorned with rose-cut diamonds, brooch fittings to the reverse, unmarked metal testing as silver gilt, overall measuring 6.8 x 3.5 cm, 14.2 grams.
