Mene (French, 1810-1879) 'Valet De Chasse', a very large patinated cast bronze equestrian figure group, 20th century, the huntsman up with five hounds at bay on an oval rocky base bearing the legend P.J Mene 1869. By repute, a version of this figure was owned by Napoleon III, 74 cm long x 42 cm deep x 65 cm overall height.
