To include a collection of 40 pieces from the Estate of Dame Barbara Mary Quant.
Mary Quant was a revolutionary in the colourful 1960s fashion scene and a personal friend of Dame Elisabeth Frink. This collection was carefully curated with her husband, Alexander Plunkett Greene, who jointly with Mary, set up the iconic ‘Bazaar’ shop on the Kings Road, which heralded the beginning of the swinging 60s and the birth of the mini-skirt.
