In the Manner of William Trotter, a fine Scottish, George IV carved rosewood and pietra dura marble centre table, the thick octagonal top with central boss decorated with a perched Goldfinch within multiple radiating specimen panels over a crisply carved lotus column and tripartite base with distinctive eagle claws feet.72 cm wide x 76 cm overall height.

Condition Report

The top has an old repair that is still holding strong but could probably be enhanced cosmetically, the top has a large shallow chip to the edge.

the frame is good but has some damage to the cup that the castors swivel in, the tripartite base has a slither of capping missing from the top face.
The base would have been held by a wooden nut but now has screws holding it in position.

The top shows signs of a deep scratch.
