A 17th-century and later figured walnut chest on stand, the upper section with quarter veneered top above two short and three long drawers, the stand with single frieze drawer and barley twist supports united by a shaped stretcher and bun feet. 97 cm wide x 58 cm deep x 143 cm overall height.

Condition Report

The carcass has some signs of old historical wood worm and the turned feet have seen more infestation than the rest of the piece, it has had some repairs throughout its history and I doubt that the stand and chest started life together.
The piece is in need of some work to make good, and the stand and chest did not start life together.
