A unique and comprehensive collection of archive material, illustrating the creative process of Vivian Stanshall and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, comprising: a blue-covered book containing notes for the Keynsham album, prep for Bonzos gigs, sketches, handwritten music and a first draft of 'Sport (The Odd Boy)', with alternate lyrics and verses, 'Quiet Talks and Summer Walks', a setlist for Tiny Tim at the Albert Hall, numerous notes for TV appearances inc TOTP, sketches of Bonzos bandmates and personal notes (1968-69); an orange-covered book containing ‘Let’s Make up and Be Friendly’ notes, including written lyrics for 'Mr Slater’s Parrott', 'The Strain' and 'Brain Opera', music for 'Joke Shop Man', 'Wrestle Poodles and Win', 'Noises for The Leg', notes, prep and stage directions for final Bonzos live shows and TV appearances, (1971-72); a small red notebook containing music notes for 'Rule Britannia' and other songs, with assorted illustrations; and a collection of typed notes, reviews, letters and other items relating to the Bonzos.
