In 1976 Emilio Vedova began work on the 'De America' series, of which this painting is reminiscent. 'De America' is a series of 14 large-scale canvases, all in monochrome colours, and reflects his experiences of North America and its contemporary art in the 1950s and 60s.

No certificates are available with this lot. Purchased by the vendor in August 2022. Condition appears to be good, some small areas with a glossy finish, some dust on the inside of the glass. Please contact us for any further details
